Mateo’s is pleased to welcome Raza Zaidi, founder of Wahaka Artisanal Mezcal for a special Mezcal tasting dinner. Chef Mateo’s menu features warming autumn dishes including locally sourced, Drake’s Bay Oysters, Jones Family Rabbit, and beef from Progressive Pastures of Petaluma. Each spirit is tasted on it’s own and with an accompanying cocktail with each course. Join us to taste and learn from Raza the inspiration behind Wahaka Mezcal and how they craft their premium organically grown spirits.

First Course
Poached Drakes Bay Oysters served with lemon butter and smoked trout eggs

Second Course
Jones Family Farm rabbit roulade, caramelized green olives, Front Porch cinta senese pork lard dust, pelligrini farm pomegranate sauce

Progressive Pasture beef a la Veracruzana over chicharron ash picadita, Laguna Farm cranberry beans
